Louisiana Tech University Men’s Basketball Program in now under direction of Coach Kerry Rupp. Coach Rupp has been involved in basketball at many different levels. He’s known as a great teacher of the game. One of the most successful high school coaches in the country. He was selected 1999 Utah Coach of the Year. Coach Rupp was the 1st Head Coach at the University of Utah to win the Mountain West Conference Tournament Championship. This team went on to compete in the 2004 NCAA Tournament. He developed Andrew Bogut into the National Player of the Year and the Top Pick in the 2005 NBA Draft. Coach Rupp helped coach Indiana University to the NIT and NCAA Tournaments. His coaching has also taken him overseas, to coach in the Far East, Europe and Australia. Coach Rupp has many ties to the NBA; he coordinated the Utah Jazz Summer League, and was part of the 1996 Seattle Supersonics summer league staff. He has directed an assortment of basketball camps at all levels. He was the director for the Karl Malone Basketball Camp. Now Coach Rupp is ready to make his camp here at Louisiana Tech University the best basketball camp in the country.
